Acrylic and Plastic Hemispheres and Spheres – Globes
A hemisphere is one half of a sphere/globe. Two hemispheres joined together make a sphere/globe. At Planet Plastics we can free form blown hemispheres up to 96” in diameter and 48” deep. When two are joined together the finished product in this example is a 96” (8 foot) round globe.

A globe made this way will have a visible seam and will not be concentric as seen in the diagrams below.

Planet Plastics can free form hemispheres and spheres starting at 4” in diameter all the way up to 96” in diameter.
